DIAL-AN-ANGEL is seeking suitably qualified persons for Supervised Contact work in North and South Gold Coast. You will join a team of Angels who supervise the contact that children and young persons have with their families and significant others.

Here is a wonderful opportunity to work in your local community, observing contact between parents and child/ren and then documenting it in a report.

Successful applicants will be required to have:

• Background in either teaching, Police Service, social services, case management or similar
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to manage children and others with challenging behaviours
• Demonstrated conflict and negotiation skills
• Experience and skills in report writing
• Current driver's licence and fully insured car
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current Blue Card
• Telephone References

Desired but not essential:

• Understanding of children in Out of Home Care and why contact with significant others is important
• Understanding of Queensland Child Protection Act 1999
